What's Cropping Up? is a bimonthly digital newsletter distributed by the Section of Soil and Crop Sciences at Cornell University. Glyphosate-Resistant Weeds Likely in NY

The number of herbicide resistant weed biotypes has increased from 404 to 437 in the past 12 months.  There have been 13 new cases of ALS (acetolactate synthase) inhibitor resistance (Group 2 herbicides) and 7 new cases of glyphosate (EPSP inhibitor) resistance (Group 9 herbicides) around the World during the past year.  Read more
